Clan Farquharson
On 14 October 2000 I visited my Clan Chief, Captain Alwyne Farquharson at home house in Braemar, Invercauld House. He invited me to start a new clan society, which first met on 20 January 2001.
The clan society has grown to about 150 members and includes members from all corners of the world. We have links to clan associations in USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Argentina, France, Norway.
I became the first President and was President on two further occasions. I ended my association with the clan at 10.00am on Tuesday 20 January 2026, up to which time I was Honorary Vice President, thereby completing precisely 25 years with the clan.
